P90X Review of The Last Week!

Day 13! I know we have missed some post but Ashley and I have been very busy but are still sticking to the workouts. So lets talk about today’s workout, Kempo. So Ashley and I both wake up at 5am this morning to workout and let me tell you I felt horrible. My energy was down and my throat was killing me but I deiced to push on. We started the dvd and my energy continue to go south. It wasn’t much pasted warms up when I had to call it quits. I knew I wasn’t going to get a good workout in and needed to rest.  Ashley pushed on by her self and finished the workout.

I few hours later once I was feeling better I went back and finished the workout and let me tell you kempo is a workout. I felt great after the workout it was such a great energy boost. I also really felt more in control of my movements this week then last. My body is still sore from the last few days and I can’t wait for the X-stretch tomorrow.

The Diet so far hasn’t been to hard to follow. Both Ashley and I are about 5 pounds down from are starting weight and starting to see results. This weekend was a little hard not to over eat due to the UFC fights on Saturday and then Superbowl Sunday. I think both of us did a great job this weekend and now we will see how Ashley does on Valentines day.

Overall the second week was a much better week for the both of us. I personal got a way better workouts due to the fact that we went out and bought the adjustable dumbbells.  Ashley has a set that goes up to 25lbs and I have a set that goes up to 50lbs. The dumbbells were a little pricy but so far seem to be worth ever penny.

I also want to thank everyone in the P90X community who has been posting comments. It’s great to see people reading and enjoying our experience with P90X!
